Remarks: Longest mission for some time. Moderate but very accurate & concentrated flak. Ball turret gunner got glass particles in eye when turret sighting window was hit by large piece of flak. Very lucky. Not serious. Still flying. Base weathered in upon return. Landed at emergency field on English coast. Buzzbombs going over all night. Returned to base next morning. Bad mission because of very poor weather. Bombed by instrument. GEE-H.
