Remarks: Encountered heavy flak barrages along course but avoided them. For first time returned without battle damage. Lead bombardier messed up & we dropped our bombs on Canadian troops. No credit for mission. Altitude was too low. Flak can be too accurate at that level. Hope we stay higher in future.
