Remarks: Long flight. Mostly over occupied territory. On oxygen for six hours. First real cold mission. We all had trouble keeping warm. Had trouble getting thru clouds on way in. Intense flak over target. Number of small holes but no serious damage. Group lost five planes. More trouble with clouds on way back. Saw parts of Paris and Eiffel Tower thru break in clouds.
