Remarks: Bombed by instrument. PFF. Target we’ve been dreading. Long tiresome flight. On oxygen for six hours. Very intense flak barrage over target but too low to do much damage. New anti-radar equipment seems to be effective. No fighter attacks. Unusual for this target. Usually catch hell in this area. Fourth Oak Leaf Cluster.
